Ludhiana: Machhiwara authorities on Tuesday reserved to the murder of an ex-serviceman, 60-year-old Sultan Singh of Maanewal, his former spouse Raj Kaur, her brother Nirmal Singh, sister Bimal Kaur, daughter-in-law Manjeet Kaur along with nephew Ravi. In his police criticism, Inderjit Singh, brother of the deceased, he stated that his elder brother had retired by military a couple of months back and was residing with his loved ones. He added that his brother had regular struggles with his household over land. The complainant further said among those sons of the dead had gone overseas whereas his next kid Roop Singh resides with his spouse in a different residence. He added that the dead person wanted to present his son discuss in his house, but his spouse daughter-in-law Manjeet Kaur (wife of child that resides overseas ) weren’t in favour of the. Inderjit stated at the night of May 21, he heard noise coming out of the home of the elder brother he moved there. He added that the accused had defeated his brother till he had been unconscious. The complainant stated he strove take his brother into his house, but his family didn’t let him do this. The following morning he came to understand his brother had perished. Police booked the accused under sections 302 (murder), 148 (rioting, armed with deadly weapon), 149 (unlawful assembly) of this IPC. Station home officer of Machhiwara police channel, inspector Rajesh Thakur said that the accused would be arrested shortly.
