Ahmedabad: The Department of Livestock Disorders and Control (CNCD) from Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has proposed an increase in payment for life for life for wild livestock which is not claimed to be captured by the CNCD team.
At present, AMC pays Rs 2,500 per animal to the agency transporting such animals to animal shelter located outside the city.

The official said that most animals captured by CNCD were abandoned animals and their owners did not claim they returned.
