Wild dogs ‘poisoned to death’

Coimbatore: Indian animal welfare council has submitted a complaint with police KovilPalalayam after two wild dogs allegedly poisoned to death in Vasantham Nagar near the area of the Kappiksadai bus stop on Sunday.
The Honor District of the Pradepakan Pradepakan Council’s animal welfare officer has warned the police about the incident.
The police conducted an investigation with residents.
“The carcass is kept in a safe place in Vasantham Nagar and Postmortem will be held on Monday morning.
The sample will be sent to the forensic laboratory to ensure the cause of death,” said Pradeep.Tnn
