Gurugram: The main anti-encroachment drive was conducted on Monday to clear the 200 meter long stretch in BAda Bazar, a conscious extension of a bazaar.
Every trader on a stretch has penetrated about 10 feet of roads by building slopings outside their shops, making it a solid road for pedestrians and commuters.

MCG officials said that after they received complaints from the residents of the region, after the inpection carried out and sloping was destroyed.

“We deployed two earthmovers and destroyed unauthorized slopes built by traders on the road.
We have received several complaints about encroachment on our basis to take onmonday action.
We also confiscated 10 to 12 visan pickup which is often parked outside these shops , “said Jitender Garg, Commissioner Joint-2, MCG.
“Traders conscious Bazar, however, complained that the MCG did not take action against BAD BADA traders, who violated 10ft on the road but immediately took action against a conscious BazaR trader, even if they violated four legs on the main road,” add Garg.
Moreover, officials said that anti-encroaching drives will continue in the area.
Some traders have also established a temporary structure on stretches, which are also destroyed.
MCG officials said that the market decongesting was also important because the Maces market was a potential threat in a pandemic.
