Gurgaon: The City and State Meeting Department (DTCP) has issued a notification to Palam Vihar Vyapar Kendra Rwa, Qutub Plaza and the Central Arcade Condominium Association directing them to eliminate encroachment from the market area under their purview.
Acting on complaints, the Wing Enforcement Wing team recently surveyed three markets and recorded heavy encroachment in public areas, including corridors, open spaces and parking lots.
This department has now directed market associations to remove wild residents and submit compliance reports in seven days, failed to be a strict action that will begin against them.
The District Town Planner (Enforcement) Batth Hospital said, “Considering the safety of buyers and shop owners, members of the Association, which are maintenance agents and controllers, have been directed to see encroachment problems.” Associations have been asked to get all the corridors and public areas cleaned to ensure people’s free movement, especially during the exemination, he added.
During the survey, the DTCP allegedly found that the corridor had diminished into small parts that could cause unwanted situations if an accident occurred, including a fire.
“We will also write firefighting letters to see this problem and take action under relevant actions / rules,” Batth said.
Although often drives against wild residents, DLF-Resident Safe Sharma said, the market continued to be interrupted after leading to parking and congestion problems.
In June, the DTCP has also warned fines and sealing shop owners if they expand their outlets or let others organize an anticolence illegally for money.
