WASHINGTON: The Bootleg API in the US Oregon state has burned more than 300.00 hectares of land since it erupted on July 6, said fire on Monday.
On Monday morning, the fire had burned 303,791 hectares with 25% detention, according to data from Insiweb, US Clearinghouse for Wildfire information.
The fire, which grew in the East, began on July 6, northeast of Klamath Falls and threatened more than 5,000 structures, reported the Xinhua news agency.
This happened after the National Weather Service issued a “red flag warning” for the Klamath Basin and Fremont-Winema National Forest, which showed the weather conditions of critical fire or weather conditions that could cause a fire, according to a report by Oregon.
At present there are 80 large forest fires that raged in 13 states in the US, burning more than 1.1 million hectares, mostly in Western countries, according to the National Interagency Fire Center (NIFC).
Montana has reported the largest forest fires with 18, and Idaho is close to 17, NIFC said.
