Qobayat, Lebanon: Lebanese firefighters struggled for the second day to load forest fires in the north of the country who had spread throughout the border to Syria, civil defense officials in both countries said Thursday.
The fire killed at least one person, a 15-year-old boy boy, who helped the fire fighting efforts in Lebanon.
Lebanese civil defense said it was mobilizing 25 fire trucks, supported by four air force helicopters and military units, to issue flames.

In Syria, Syrian firefighters also struggled to load fires in villages in the Al-Qusair area, according to the state news agency there.
