Thane: criticizing the government for poor walks in Maharashtra District, Local BJP MPs and New Union ministers inaugurated Patil warned that he would be a toll booth if the country continued the tax collection of roads without improving road parts.
Speaking of a function in Bhiwandi where he was ordered to be appointed by the State Minister of Union Pancayati Raj, Patil said the internal road in the city, as well as a passing highway, was in a sad condition, especially the road to Mumbai, Nashik, Thane, Chinchoti and Kalyan.
Patil said he had learned from the State PWD officials whose collection of tolls in the “hole” of Jalan Bhiwandi-Wada will continue.
“If the Naka Toll starts without repairing the road, first I will burn it,” said MP Bhiwandi.
He said Minister of Transportation and Jalan Raya Nitin Gadkari had given the principle approval to change the road Bhiwandi-Wada to the highway, but the plan was trapped as a toll collection company for the stretch of court, and a number of Rs 500.
Crore might have to be given to him, which is a financial burden Great in the state.
To put out this problem, the state PWD plans to start collecting toll again, Patil claims, adding that if the stretch is submitted to the central government, he will ensure it is converted to cement which will last more than 35 years.
Patil said he would meet with Deputy Minister of Maharashtra Ajit Pawar, Minister of PWD Ashok District Chavan and Guardian Minister Thanknath Shinde to convince them about the need to share Bhiwandi-Wada roads to the government.
