Chandigarh: While advising farmers to stop setting plant residues on fire, Minister Punjab Chararjit Singh Channi on Wednesday announced the cancellation of old shots on farmers to burn agriculture.
In Punjab, the first number of shots listed in 2019 was 1820, but the count fell to 65 in 2020 and no one was registered this year.
Speaking after the meeting with representatives of Sanyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM), Channi added that pine to participate in protest against central agricultural laws would also be canceled.

He also convinced SKM representatives that he would personally approach the Governor of Punjab for the withdrawal of cases of farmers who participated in the protest march towards Punjab Raj Bhawan against agricultural law on agricultural law.
Channi said he would immediately call the governor with a delegation of various agricultural representatives to urge him to attract him.
