Will focus on generation of employment: Gadchiroli Collector Meena

Nagpur: Sanjay Meena, Collection of IAS 2011, took the gadchiroli district government affected by Maoist as a collector from the debit of the Singla Peak this week.
An alumni of Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune, Meena has completed MBA Finance before joining civil service.
Posted earlier as Commissioner Addl in the Tribal welfare department in Pune, Meena said that the experience of the previous post would help him serve better at Gadchiroli.
“The generation of work is the main focus here along with development,” said a new collector who spent the first two days of reviewing the progress of work under various projects taken so far in the district.
Meena has joined the right district when the government has sanctioned several important bridge and road projects, including one in the Maoist camp from Beagunda which is considered on vacation to Abhujmadh.
“Perception and image of Gadchiroli need to change in the coming days.
This will be a big task,” Meena said who seemed to want to visit the deep interior of the remote district.
Although this was the first task for him in the district affected by Maois, Meena said that he wanted to get insight into the problems here by reviewing the situation.
