Pithoragarh: Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday said India wanted a good relations with his neighbors but warned that it would give a reward in accordance with any country that tried to occupy even an inch of one inch.
He was in Uttarakhand who was tied to a poll to launch the second leg ‘Shaheed Samman Yatra’ from Jhaulkhet Moonakot in Pithoragarh.
“India has never attacked any country.
Never occupies a foreign area.
Having a good bond with neighbors has become Indian culture but some people don’t understand this,” he said.
Naming Pakistan, Singh said he continued to strive to disrupt India through terrorist activities and hard messages had been given to him.
“We have given a clear message to our neighbors on the western border that if it crosses the limit, we will not reply on the border but can even cross into the territory and carry out surgical airstrikes,” he said.
“We have one more neighbor (who doesn’t seem to understand things),” Singh added, without naming China.
Singh also said the state government must ensure that the names of Matyr and the names of their villages must be written on the Dham built in Dehradun as a warning award to them.
