Chandigarh: Kamalpreet Kaur, who qualified for the Discus Olympics threw the final in second place with impressive performance on Saturday, told his father that he would give the best to win the medal.
The Kaur family in Kabarwala Village in Muktsar Punjab Regency was busy receiving guests at home and got a congratulatory message since he was eligible for the discus throwing the final at the Tokyo Olympics.

The 25-year-old was superior to maintain the gold medal of Sandra Perkovic (63.75m) from Croatia and ruled the world “I talked to him today and he was very happy.
He told me that he would give his best chance in the final,” Kaur Kuldeep Singh’s father Tell PTI.
“He always focuses on the game and makes his dreams to participate in the Olympics into reality through his hard hard work,” said a happy father.
Kaur aged 25 years, competing in qualifying B, sent a disc to a distance of 64m in his third and final effort to become one of the two automatic qualifications for the final round.
