‘Will improve tracking and testing ahead of the next wave’

Ghaziabad: Bhavtosh Shankhdhar took over as the head of the Ghaziabad medical officer on Saturday.
Speaking on his priority, Shankhdhar said that considering that the third will will not have a lack of tracking, testing and treatment of covid patients.
Shankhdhar, who was an ophthalmologist, was Cmo Bulandshahr before he was transferred to Ghaziabad.
“The level of infection in Bulandshahr is not as high as Ghaziabad.
I feel Ghaziabad’s closeness with the national capital partially behind the high number of cases here.
So, I will ensure that there is no traffic jam in search, testing and care of Covid patients,” Shankhdhar said.
He added that there were problems delayed regarding oxygen plants and they would be accelerated, and private hospitals would also be asked to regulate their own oxygen plants.
