PANAJI: The Chairman of the Minister of Pramod Sawant said on Tuesday that the current covid case of Covid case was 3-4%, and would further reduce in the coming days.
He said that only after falling further whether the state curfew was withdrawn.
The day after the country recorded zero Covid’s death for the first time in almost four months, Sawant said that it was “good news” and happened because the doctors, nurses and others.
“I congratulate medical staff who have worked hard for the past few months.
It must remain the same (zero) and the level of participants must (too) down,” he said.
The state of death counts has begun to increase in April as a second wave of pandemic hit the country, and peaked in May, when touching one day high of 75 deaths.
He also said that people must take precautions to reduce the level of peposititiveness of the country.
“It is the responsibility of people to reduce the level of pepositives, and the government continuously (has) told people to take precautions,” Sawant said.
Sawant said that the decision, if any, to lift the curfew, will be taken after discussion with the expert committee.
