Chandigarh: Minister of Punjab Minister Charanjit Singh Channi said it would be a heartburn among the leaders of the congresses who had been rejected by party tickets and he would make his brother Manohar Singh and the party’s candidate Bass Pathana Pathana Singh GP sank their differences.
Answering questions, Channi said he and the party would make his brother (who was not satisfied not to get a congressional ticket from Bass Pathana) and sort out the problem.
He added, “Previously, GP made my brother moving from Bass Pathana where he posted as a senior medical officer.
Brother asked him to continue there.
He felt injured and quit the job.
The people in the area then asked him for opposed the assembly selection.
He asked for a party ticket but was rejected.
The party will solve this problem.
“” GP must have thought he might not contest his chair and maybe try to overtake it.
I will make my brother and GP understand.
GP is my brother too .
I will let go of my responsibility as the leader of the congress and brother.
We are a family together and it’s not a problem in the family, “he added.
Asked about other dissatisfied leaders Mohinder Singh Kaypee, who had been rejected by tickets from Jalandhar West, Channi said Kaypee had a “original grouse” and the party’s leadership looked into it.
“He is a senior leader and the party thinks about it,” he said.
Channi, however, avoids the question whether his brother will compete as an independent candidate.
On a lighter note, Channi said the name was the top in the call received by AAP to get feedback on the face of CM.
Asked about dissatisfaction between the Congress leader after being rejected by a party ticket, Channi said, “Only one leader gets nominations and will definitely be heartburn.” In CM CM facing questions if Congress will announce the face of CM in front of the election, Channi says on a lighter note, “Your question is very good.
I will ask this when I meet Rahul Gandhi and then tell you.”
