New Delhi: Deputy Chairman of Delhi Minister Manish Sisodia on Saturday said the city government seeks to make the national capital of a world leader in skill training.

(Dr.) Neharika Vohra visited the Varsity Campus in Dwarka and Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in Nizamuddin to examine the on-ground events from Delhi’s first country.

Some skills include bakeries, 3D digital art games, aircraft maintenance, autobody repair, car technology, etc.
“Youth Delhi had previously had to travel to various countries to participate in the world’s biggest skills competition.
We are proud to have DSEU Delhi government which hosts the inaugural state level competition for selection of candidates who will represent the regional round state,” he said.
While emphasizing that Delhi has many young stars who need such a platform to show off their talents, said that emphasis must be placed on the skills to ensure that young people are ready to move forward in the industry.
“The Kejriawal government makes its best efforts to make Delhi a world leader in skills.
We strive to improve skills standards in this country by providing this platform to students.
“I am happy to see young faces like that among the participants, working on machines and utilize their hand integration, thoughts and hearts not only complete the project but also add personal touch to them while also regulating time,” he said.
Vohra said India first participated in ‘Worldskills’ in 2007 and has since won several medals at every event.
“We hope that after fulfilling the requirements of the State Competition, the Stars of Delhi’s skills will fulfill the following stages and represent Delhi and India in the ‘Worldskills’ Shanghai 2022,” he said.
