New Delhi: Chirag Paswan, who struggled to maintain control over the Lok Jansakti Party (LJP) founded by his father, Ram Vilas Paswan, has threatened to move to court if the PM Modi-LED government includes Uncle Pashupati Kumar Paras in the Union cabinet in the LJP quota , Pashupati Paras, who is the younger brother of Ram Vilalas Paswan, has led a rebellion against Chirag and released his nephew from all party posts.
Paras claims that the separating faction is a real LJP.
Both groups have approached the election commission to force claims for the party.
Chirag on Tuesday urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi that no one from a separating faction, led by his uncle, must be taken in the Ministry of the LJP quota.
“This is the right of the Prime Minister to include anyone in his cabinet.
But, both Uncle Pashupati Kumar Paras or other lawmakers, who are no longer attributed to the party established by my father, must be appointed in the worker union cabinet from the LJP quota.
If my uncle is appointed in The union cabinet from the LJP quota or as a member of the LJP, we will go to court, “MP Jatui 38 years told reporters.
Chirag, however, said he did not object to the paras who was made by the Minister as independent or from the JD (U) quota.
LJP has won six seats in the 2019 election as a member of NDA.
However, five parliamentarian members joined by hand to replace Chirag as their leader at Lok Sabha.
