Hyderabad: Apart from Telangana’s demand for government and protest TRS, the center has explained that it will not buy boiled rice from the country.
This center also does not provide clarity on the number of rice to be carried out in the current season.
However, the Government of NDA convinced the minister’s delegation led by Minister of Industry KT Rama Rao that it would increase rice and procurement of rice to a certain extent.
The Telangana government said the central step, in the future, will make ‘boiled rice’ disappear in the state.
The center tells the Telangana government that the final decision on the quantity of rice to be obtained will be announced on November 26 after holding other meetings with officials of the Ministry of Agriculture and Public Distribution System (PDS).
The minister and official delegation consists of KTR, Minister of Agriculture Niranjan Reddy and Civil Equipment Minister Gangula Kamalakar met with the Minister of Food and Public Distribution Pikush Goyal and Agriculture Minister Union Narendra Singh Tomar separately on the problem of procurement of rice caught fire on Tuesday.
The government delegation held a discussion with the United Minister for about three hours.

The NDA government approved the KCR suggestion that the center must announce the annual procurement target.
While accepting that it is a good suggestion that needs to be implemented throughout the country, the center said since next year, it will announce the annual target for all countries.
The Chairman of the KCR Minister camped in Delhi since Sunday night to sort out the problem of procurement of rice.
He had asked for an appointment to meet him to tell him about this problem.
