Noida: More than 26,000 home buyers in Noida and Greater Noida (West) have threatened to boycott the upcoming assembly polls if their old demands for the registration of flats and their facilities in their housing society are not overcome.
About 1,000 residents at Logix Blossom Greens in the Noida 143 and 25,000 sector in Supertech Ecovillage 1, 2 and 3 in Greater Noida (West) have used a campaign ‘without registry, without sound’.
According to Sudhanshu Hajela, President Blossom Greens Social Social Society (BGSWS), the apartment complex should have 22 towers consisting of a total of 2,500 flats to be built in six phases.
Phase 1 consists of 944 flats, which are submitted from 2017.
Of the 944 flat phase 1, around 700 flats are currently occupied by more than 1,000 residents.
“However, after phase 1, there is no construction in phase 2 to 6 by builders without adequate general public facilities.
Now this is not a question about those who live here, but questions about those who are waiting for their flat delivery,” he said.
“We have stayed here for almost five years now and have increased our pending registration issues on all platforms – from builders to Noida and Local Authority Mla Tejpal Nagar.
But there is no compensation for this problem,” Hajela said.
“Even regular power connections are not provided for the complex that runs on the 24×7 diesel generator reserve against the NGT command.” The population has protested with ‘no registry, no sound’ and ‘no supply grid, no voice poster from January 28.
“We will continue this protest,” Hajela said.
The Bajaj Navy, another resident, said “The problem is not only real but important”.
Similar protests held in Greater Noida (West), including SuperTech Eco Village 1, 2 and 3.
“There are more than 25,000 flat buyers at Eco Village 1, 2 and 3 which struggle for flat registration for four-five years.
The three people from Supertech Eco Village 1 to 3 runs a ‘No Registry, No Vote’ campaign, “said Anupam Mishra, Resident, Echo Village 2.
