New Delhi: WhatsApp on Friday told the Delhi High Court that until the data protection bill came into force, it will not force users to choose a new privacy policy because it has been postponed.

Last month, the court refused to stay the notification competition commission that asked Facebook and WhatsApp to provide certain information with respect to the probe ordered by the new Privacy Policy instant messaging.
In their application filed compared to being delayed, Facebook and WhatsApp have been looking for a fixed CCI notification asking them to provide certain information for questions carried out by it.
Notifications issued for WhatsApp and Facebook respectively on June 4 and June 8.
This case is related to Facebook and WhatsApp appeal on the Single Judge rules reject their requests for the CCI probe ordered to the new Privacy Policy instant messaging application.
The High Court has been on May 6 issued a notification of appeal and requested the center to respond.

CCI has argued before the single judge that it did not examine alleged violations of individual privacy being seen by the Supreme Court.
It argued before the court that the new Privacy Policy WhatsApp will lead to excessive data collection and “stalking” consumers for targeted advertisements to bring more users and therefore alleged misuse of dominant positions.
WhatsApp and Facebook challenged the order on March 24 CCI directed investigations into a new privacy policy.
In January, CCI himself decided to see whatsApp new privacy policies based on news reports on the same thing.
