Bengaluru: After Tamil Nadu refused his offer for talks, the Chairman of the BS Yediyurappa Minister on Tuesday said Karnataka would implement the Mekedatu Balancing Reservoir project across Cauvery, “Come on what is possible”.
“There are no questions to stop the project for any reason.
We will apply it in the legal framework and complete it – no one can stop it,” Yediyurappa told reporters.
Cong: Why ask for permission TN? CM said he wrote to Tamil Nadu partners, MK Stalin, to encourage a strong bond with a coat that would benefit the two countries, but for the response was unfriendly.
“This does not mean we will drop the project.
We will ensure it is implemented, what is possible,” added Yediyurappa.
On Monday, Minister of Law Basavaraj Bommai said Karnataka would continue his legal battle on the project.
