Will not use ‘SAFA’ until Cong is defeated: Poonia

Aligarh: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Rajasthan President Satish Poonia on Thursday promised that he would not wear ‘mala’ (garland), ‘SAFA’ (headgear) and will pass dinner until his party is in power in the state in 2023 elections.
“I have taken the resolution until we revoke the Congress Party in Rajasthan in 2023 and formed the BJP government (in 2023 Rajasthan polls) with the absolute majority, I would not wear ‘mala’ and ‘safa’ and not dinner,” said Poonia “In Aligarh, while handling the election general meeting to support the candidate BJP Rajkumar Sahayak.
The election of the Assembly in Rajasthan is scheduled to be held in 2023.
In the election of the assembly of 2018 in Rajasthan, Congress has pocketed 99 of 199 seats to seize power from BJP in the state.
Rajasthan Assembly has 200 seats, but the selection of one seat was postponed because of the death of one of the candidates.
