The police sought other party leaders in the state, including a spokesman for TMC TMC Ashis Lal Singh.
A five member TMC team, including Braatya Basu, Arpita Ghosh, Pratima Mandal and Aparupa Poddar, is expected to reach Tripura on Friday.
