Will reboot the IT sector, said Minister

Coimbatore: Tamil Nadu lost several crores from the Rupee that was worth investing in information technology to other countries in the past 10 years, Minister T Mano Thangaraj said here on Wednesday.
The AIDMK government failed to pay to pay attention to information technology, which was capitalized by neighboring countries who made efforts to expand this sector and attract investment, the Minister said to reporters.
“Although the potential to attract large investments and produce hundreds of jobs, this sector does not pay attention to everything for a decade.
But the DMK government takes steps to attract investment in the IT sector.” Accompanied by the main Secretary of Neeraj Mittal and Elcot Managing Director of Ajay Yadav, Thangaraj Check the upcoming IT garden building in Vilankurichi and then hold a meeting with representatives from the IT sector.
“The need for hours is to produce employment throughout Tamil Nadu.
Every year, 4.5 Lakh young people graduate from engineering colleges in the state, where only 1.5 lakh managed to get a job in the information technology sector.
The rest was forced to leave To other countries or abroad.
But we have the potential to provide work to all in Tamil Nadu by giving a fresh push to the IT sector.
The steps are being taken in that direction, “he said.
Noting that the second phase of IT Park in Coimbatore, built at a cost of Rs 114 Crore, will be finished soon, the minister said more parks will be built in other districts.
“Every year, hundreds of young people, especially from the southern district, are forced to migrate to other districts to find work.
More companies will help them find jobs,” Minister said.
Even when the government takes steps to attract more investment, efforts are also taken to improve IT infrastructure.
In an effort to gather input from the industry, the IT department holds a consultative meeting with IT companies and other stakeholders throughout the state.
