Will run an extra mile for carnataka: cm

Bangalore: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Wednesday said he is ready to walk the extra mile to put Karnataka on top positions in the country’s industrial map.
“In the coming days we will work to put Karnataka in the number one in its industry.
I am ready to walk the extra mile with you to make it a success,” said Bommai.
He spoke at an event, where the Federation of Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Sir M Visvesvaraya Industrial Award was presented to Dr Mr Jayaram, chairman of the GEF and the group Ramaiah institutions.
The award was presented by the Vice President of India M Venkaiah Naidu in the presence of the Governor of Karnataka Thaawarchand Gehlot.
Given the statement SIR M Visvesvaraya “Industrialization or perish”, crediting the former Chief Minister of the Diwan of Mysore Karnataka industrialization and some public sector enterprises established in and around Bangalore.
“From the iron and steel to cement, paper for soap, your name, it was his initiative.

Not only industry that has he donated to the banking sector and education.
We need people like Visvesvaraya now to build and promote Karnataka to the 21st century, “he added.
Praising lembabatnya Jayaram and services to the community, the Chief Minister recalled that he was one of the first to resign as a legislator when the term of parliament and assemblies is extended for one year during emergencies.
He also appreciates the support and cooperation extended by the institution primarily Ramaiah hospital, under the leadership of Covid Jayaram during a pandemic.
