New Delhi: The Delhi BJP will seal the vends of liquor located in a residential area, near schools and religious places if the government of Kejriawal Arvind failed to close these stores in the next 48 hours, the Head of the Adesh Gupta Party said on Thursday.
Overcoming a press conference, Gupta said the party had “without stopping” protesting the new city government policy through Chakka Jam, campaigns or demonstrations.
City companies in Delhi ruled by BJP have taken action against several liquor stores, sealing such a place for alleged violations of the parent plan.
Under the new Delhi government excise policy, the license has been given to the private sector to open 849 advanced liquor throughout the city.
So far, nearly 550 cam has begun operating while still regulated by private operators.
A large virtual rally led by Iran’s Union Ministers will be held against the new AAP Excise Policy in which around one crore people will be connected through various social media platforms, Delhi BJP said in a statement.
More than 500 places in the city will install a screen led for this where around 250 people will be present, he added.
Gupta also claimed that the BJP agitation of the New AAP Excise Policy The government has been “quite successful” and as a result, more than 300 liquor stores have been sealed by the company.
“There are still many liquor stores in residential areas, near schools and religious places and if they are not closed within 48 hours, party workers together with employees and officials and I personally will go to close them,” he said.

Gupta said the party relentlessly protested the new excise policy through Chakka Jam, a signature campaign or protest demonstration and now we have become the voice of Delhies to protest this policy strongly.
Under the new excise policy, the liquor business in the city was fully handed over to private players where they could open 849 extensive and magnificent fines in 32 zones that had a total of at least 500 square meters.
Such outlets will also allow Walk-in facilities to consumers where they can choose their choice of alcohol brands as they do in shopping centers.
Delhi BJP, who came to power in three civilians – North, East and South – has opposed the policy, allebting that liquor stores have opened violated the norm.
The municipality has also launched hard action in liquor stores, which according to him was founded “illegally”.
Adesh Gupta claims that new excise policies will make Delhi a city of liquor and which will affect all parts of society, including women and young people.
