‘Will stay with high command referrals’: Yediyurappa in the future as cm carnataka

Bengaluru: In the midst of talk of leadership changes in Karnataka, Minister B Yediyurappa said on Thursday that BJP’s high command will give direction on July 25 and he would obey him.
Breaking his silence for the first time in the middle of the buzz that the exit was on the card, Yediyurappa said: “Based on instructions that the central leaders will give me on July 25, I will start my work from July 26.
We have a special program on July 26 regarding 2 years of our government, after attending the program, I will comply with instructions from the national president.
“The Yediyurappa government will finish two years to the office on July 26.
Speaking to reporters in Bengaluru, he said his intention was to strengthen the party in the days to come and restore power.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amit Shah (Minister of Home Affairs) and our National President JP Nadda has love and special faith against me.
You realize that there are no positions given to those who have crossed the age of 75 years, but appreciate my work.
Giving me a chance even though I crossed 78 years, “said Yediyurappa.
Yediyurappa visited Delhi last week, and had met Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Interior Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and BJP President JP Nadda.
The Delhi trip has sparked speculation that he was on the way out and the party’s center leadership was working on a succession plan.
