Panaji: Chairman of the Minister of Pramod Sawant said on Saturday that the government would not hesitate to take punishment if the charges of money demanded from a proven job seeker.
Insisting that the ongoing transparent recruitment process, Sawant asked people not to pay money for government work, but to file complaints so that guilty can be ordered.
“If anyone takes money for government work, complaints must be submitted.
I will not see anywhere before I throw the people inside (prison),” Sawant said on the sidelines of a event in Ribandar.
However, the minister’s chairman avoided questions about irregularities in the election of the men’s speaker Rajesh Patnekar Himanshu Pathnekar.
Himanshu topped the junior officer exam after the re-evaluation of question papers despite the initial list he stood 14 on the list of achievements.
“Leave the accusation (bribes taken for work) proven.
I want to tell the public, if there is anyone who asks for money as a substitute for a job, this government will not take light.
Please submit a complaint with me, with the police.
They will be thrown into prison, “Sawant said.
