Microsoft finally took the wraps from the next version of Windows at Microsoft Event yesterday.
Dubbed as Windows 11, the operating system seems to have something new for everyone including day-to-day users, heavy multitaskers, content creators and gamers.
Microsoft at the event mentioned that the latest Windows OS brings a host of new gaming features and enhancements for users.

DirectX 12 Ultimate supportFirst and foremost, Windows 11 claims to unlock the full potential of the system and its resources.
Plus, it brings support for DirectX 12 Ultimate which enables better graphics performance at high frame rates.
DirectStorageThe company has also added DirectStorage support which was first introduced with the company’s latest gaming consoles Xbox Series X and Series S based on Xbox Velocity architecture.
The DirectStorage feature boosts the loading time and more detailed game worlds.
Auto HDR supportMicrosoft once again took a page from Xbox Series X|S and added it to Windows 11.
The Auto HDR on Windows 11 is designed to automatically add High Dynamic Range enhancements to DirectX 11or higher games.
The Auto HDR feature enhances the overall games’ visuals by rendering a wider range of brightness values and colours to offer rich and detailed gaming experience.
Better gaming hardware compatibilityAs per the official blog post, Window 11 will offer support for almost every gaming hardware and accessories including the new Xbox Wireless controller, mechanical keyboards, gaming mice, Xbox Adaptive controller, surround sound headsets, external GPUs, Racing wheels and more.
Built-in Xbox appMicrosoft announced the Xbox app for Windows 10 and also introduced the Xbox Game Pass for PC.
However, with Windows 11, the Xbox app is now integrated right into the operating system for a better gaming experience.
Also,the app will support Xbox cloud gaming which will allow players to play AAA-titles right onto their system without worrying about meeting minimum system requirements.
