Winner of the Sons Tata Sons Air India? There is no decision yet

New Delhi: The government on Friday denied media reports claiming that Tata Sons had won an offer to acquire Air Carrier India.
It was said that the offer was being evaluated and the decision had not been taken.
“Media reports showing the approval of the financial offer by the Indian government in the case of Disinvestment AI is wrong.
The media will be informed of the government’s decision as and when taken,” the Department of Investment and Secretary of Management of Public Assets (Depam) is clarified on Twitter.
Previously, Bloomberg reported that Tatas had been chosen by the government panel as a winner who won for Air India.
Tata Group is among several entities that have placed interesting initial expressions in December 2020 to buy Maharaja.
Founder of Spicejet Ajay Singh also among the bidders.
Air India has suffered losses since the merger with Indian Airlines domestic operators in 2007.
Many governments have tried to sell airlines – those who started life as the airlines in 1932 – but the effort also met with political opposition or lack of interest from potential buyers.
The airline was founded by the legendary industrialist and philanthropist JRD Tata, which is the first licensed pilot of India.
It initially flew a letter in the 1930s between Karachi in India and Bombay ruled by the UK, now known as Mumbai.
After being commercial and GO Public in the 1940s, Indian water quickly became popular with those who were able to go to the sky.
However, with the emergence of private operators in the 1990s, and then in a rush of cheap airlines, no frills in the mid-2000s, Air India lost its superiority in the domestic and international market.
Suddenly, it was not the only choice to fly abroad and his reputation for perfect service and hospitality began to ups and downs.
The losses began to be installed after the merger with domestic operators belonging to Indian Airlines in 2007 and in 2013, civil avidies in the country said privatization was the key to survival.
