Wish to Take Part in 1-2 int’l events Before Olympics: Neeraj Chopra

NEW DELHI: Javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra on Thursday reported that his preparations for his forthcoming Tokyo Olympics are going well and he’s seeking to take part in one-two foreign contests prior to the Games to be in fine form.
“I’m preparing well for the Olympics, the method began last year.
Due to trauma, I have yet to be in a position to compete in international contests.
I am attempting to play with 1-2 international contests so it provides me confidence before the Olympics,” Chopra told ANI.
“I’m ready, what’s going nicely, harm gave a couple of issues back, but that I shall work into the best of my ability, therefore that I need to create this Olympics memorable,” he further added.
When asked just how important it’s to be vaccinated prior to the Tokyo Games, Chopra stated:”I’ve received the initial dose of COVID-19 disease.

Thus, his journey plans are the SAI is currently in touch with all officials of this MEA, that are further following the issue with the Indian Embassy at Paris.
The necessary authorisation letter from the French interior ministry will be anticipated shortly.
On May 30, Neeraj has been given a visa to go to France to attribute in the global competitions before the forthcoming Tokyo Olympics.
Before this season, Neeraj had voiced disappointment in not getting an opportunity to compete in international championships before the Tokyo Games.
