The CD Projekt Red will hold Witchercon, a digital event dedicated to the Witcher game and Universe Fantasy.
The event will take place on July 9 this year and will be channeled directly on YouTube and twitching.
It will focus on making games, merchandise, and talks by experts on knowledge, monsters and other features of the world of continents.
Even though fans expect some reveals and other interesting content in the event, the developer has cleaned the air about the announcement of the next Witcher game by saying that it won’t happen.
For Nonce, the team under the Polish Video Game Developer works in Cyberpunk 2077 only and to completion, they will not start in the next Witcher game.
Because the video game studio is known for making a deep open world game, the news should not be surprising.
That they will not announce the game on the event does not mean they have no plans for it.
The next game at Witcher Universe was confirmed last year.
It will be the fourth game in the Witcher series but it won’t be a direct sequel to Witcher 3: Hunt Wild Hunt and won’t be called Witcher 4.
