Ghaziabad: Meerut reported the maximum number of bloody fever cases among the six districts in the Meerut Division, including Ghaziabad and Gautam Budh Nagar, according to government data.
With 3,900 dengue cases, Meerut was in front of Ghaziabad with 1,188 cases of dengue fever and Gautam Buddh Nagar with 617.
Meerut also led the distribution in the number of active-blooded fever cases, which was established in 188.
The situation in Ghaziabad and GB Nagar was relatively better.
Ghaziabad has 33 active cases, and Gautam Budh Nagar has 11.
Officials in both districts say that the situation will improve in the coming days because the temperature drops.
Dr.
RK Gupta, District Surveillance Officers, Ghaziabad, said, “Dengue cases have declined continuously in the district for the past few days.
At present, the number of cases is below 10 per day, which is a good sign.
Cases are not concentrated in some Place but sporadic.
Apart from this, the majority of new patients do not require hospitalization.
“Ghaziabad reported nearly 230 dengue cases in November.
In the initial phase, 30 to 35 cases of dengue fever were reported every day in this district.
Almost a third of the affected ones are children.
GB Nagar reported 160 dengue cases this month.
Malaria District Officers Rajesh Sharma said, “The situation in the district was controlled.
The anti-larval and fogging activities took place.
Previously, there were several problematic areas, but the case had dropped everywhere.” GB Nagar has confirmed two bloody deaths so far.
Ghaziabad officially did not report bloody death, but three people, including girls and a woman, reportedly died of fever.
The total number of cases in Bulandshahr, Hapur and Baghpat are 95, 230 and 157.
There are no active cases in Bulandshahr and Hapur now.
Meanwhile, Baghpat has one.
Meanwhile, with 35 cases, Ghaziabad led the division in the Typhus scrub, followed by GB Nagar, who had reported five patients so far.
Meerut, Hapur and Baghpat each have three, two and one patient.
Bulandshahr did not report.
GB Nagar also reported four cases of leptospirosis, and bulandshahr, one.
Other districts do not report.
