New Delhi: In what might be a serious indicator of emotional stress hidden among the central military personnel that lead to dangerous consequences, as many as 18 CRPF personnel were killed in 13 incidents of Fratricide for the past four years.
According to CRPF officials, six CRPF personnel have lost their lives so far this year in 5 Fratricide incidents, compared with a total of 10 personnel killed in 3 fraticidal actions each in 2019 and 2020 and 2 killed in many fratricide cases in 2018.
The officer said the court was inquiry entered the reason behind every Fratricide incident, followed by repair measures.
In almost all cases, Jawan who was responsible for the killing of Fratricidal was dismissed from the service.
“This is because Fratricide’s actions cannot be justified in any way, whatever becomes a provocation,” said an officer.
On the other hand, the victim’s family gets compensation, family retirement, and, as far as possible, work for the next relatives is the reason for compassion.
Said that cases of fratricides and suicide in CRPF were a matter of profound concern, a senior officer told toi that a number of improvement steps had been taken or were being carried out with brainstorming to handle stress among the Jawan.
“Studies have found that because of the nature of strength regimens, many Jawan feels limited by discipline to share their mental problems and anxiety, which in extreme cases can encourage them to psychological imbalances.
Therefore the CRPF DG Kulhiep Singh has emphasized that seniors should overcome this problem By opening all communication lines, even holding meetings like the chaos in which the Jawan can air their concerns without obstacles and find officers, “said an officer.
Also, professional counselors (civilians) are employed to lend ears to Jawan in a difficult cinema such as J & K and the left-wing-wing area, besides 1-2 doctors who serve every company.
Also, there are suggestions to post “friend” with Jawan with signs of depression or high stress levels.
A source said that the CRPF Jawan Reetesh Bed – which was in a clear anger at the beginning of Monday opened fire on their colleagues in Sukma, Chhattisgarh, killing four and injuring three others – did not reveal many things to the local police what pushed him to kill.
He also did not show signs of regret, said an officer.
Reetesh was said to have erased his telephone chat from two days before his death.
The police can try recovering a history of chat to get instructions into the motive behind Fratricide.
A CRPF official tells the Toi that Ranjan will continue on leave on November 13, before joining his transfer post at Jammu & Kashmir.
Interestingly, there is no history of the past of all quarrels with uncertain colleagues or behaviors by reietsh.
While a question was ordered by the CRPF to assess the reasons behind the Fratricide incident and began improvement measures, a CRPF official revealed that most suicide in style – also related to emotional stress and psychological imbalance, mainly due to problems at home or family problems – takes place right before the victim to continue leave or have returned from leave.
“As in Kashmir, a suicide personnel on Monday even though his senior advised him for one hour.
He was under pressure because of several marriage disputes.
He was fine but at night relapse to depression and finally committed suicide,” said an officer CRPF, “he said added that this had made the power repeat his advice that” Friends “or fellow Jawan can be posted with” depression or stress with the possibility of suicidal tendencies.
