Letter: Letter City on Tuesday recorded a total of nine Covid-19 cases while the central zone did not exist.
According to SMC officials, Rander recorded three cases while all six other zones include Varachha (a), Varachha (B), Katargam, Limbayat, Udhna and Athwa recorded each.
SMC officials said that 12 Covid-19 patients were dismissed from different hospitals in the city and 24 Covid-19 patients were in hospital care in the city.
“On Tuesday, 4,538 vaccine doses were given in 172 vaccination centers throughout the city including covishield, covaxin and sputnik,” said an SMC official.
SMC said in a statement that there would be no vaccination on Wednesday in the city.
