Prasagraj: Now after supervision of nominated papers delivered by 403 candidates for 22 seats assembly of Prayagraj region, including 12 seats pralanraj, 7 Pratapgrah and 3 from Kaushambi Regency, complete, a total of 95 nominations have been rejected, leaving, leaving 308 candidates behind in the polls .
These numbers can go down on Friday, the day is scheduled for the withdrawal of nomination.
Speaking of the Prayagraj District, 244 candidates have submitted their nomination for 12 assembly chairs.
After supervision, only 173 left in the fight.
The maximum number of 25 candidates is for pratappur seats, while 21 candidates for Phaphamau constituency.
The seat of the North Assembly Allahabad with nine candidates has the least amount.
This chair also witnessed the maximum number of cancellations i.e 12.
After the cancellation of one nomination paper for Soraon, this chair now has 12 candidates in the commotion and five nominations rejected in Phulpur, leaving 15 candidates.
Three nominations were canceled in Pratappur leaving 25 candidates and five were canceled from Handia which now has 12 contestants in the race.
Seven nominations were rejected in Karchhana leaving 12 candidates in the contest, while with 11 nominations rejected in Allahabad West, there were only 13 candidates now in the race.
Likewise, 12 nominations were canceled in Allahabad North, while seven nominations were rejected in the South Allahabad who now have 14 candidates in races.
Six nominations were also rejected in coals and three in Koraon left 12 candidates each in Fray in both chairs.
The supervision process saw an intense hearing for two candidates for the Jamajwadi Party who had submitted a paper from Allahabad West Seat-Richa Singh and Amar Nath Maurya.
However, after hearing, the officer who again threw away Maurya’s objection to Richa’s nomination and stated Richa as a SP candidate from the chair.
Maurya’s nomination was then rejected because it only had one referral needed by a political party candidate for 10 he needed to consider as an independent candidate.
Another refusal in Prayagraj is that Madhavi has submitted his letters as a congressional candidate from the table chair, but the party then decided to hit Shalini Dwivedi as his candidate from the chair and he had also submitted his letters on the last day of February 8 nomination.
In the PHULPUR seat, Vinay’s nomination, which has submitted a congressional candidate rejected and Siddhanath’s paper was accepted as the official Congress candidate from the Phulpur seat.
Scroutiny also saw the nomination of BJP candidates and the NAND Gopal Cabinet Minister Gopal Gupta ‘Nandi’ and that the wife and Mayor Prayagraj Abhilaasha Gupta was accepted.
This made them both as a candidate in the southern seat Allahabad.
However, Abhilasha who has submitted its letters as independent is expected to pull its nomination on Friday.
In terms of neighboring Pratapgarh, 12 candidates’ nomination papers were rejected because of disability during supervision.
Now, the count of candidates in Fray’s election has dropped to 98 against a total of 110 nominations.
Nomination papers from eight candidates are rejected (from 25) from the Pratapgarh assembly chair (aware).
Likewise, a total of 20 candidates have submitted a paper from the Vishwanath guard seat and two of them have been rejected.
In Raniganj, 15 candidates have submitted a nomination and one independent candidate rejected.
In typical mixed, 18 candidates have submitted their nomination while the nomination is rejected.
Likewise, of the 11 nominations in Patti, the paper of an independent candidate was rejected, while papers from all 11 candidates from Kunda and 10 of Babaganj were found valid.
In Kaushambi, 11 nominations were rejected during supervision for 3 district assembly chairs.
Among them were BSP Candidates Santosh Tripathi, who had submitted a nomination from the Sirathu chair while Munsab Ali Usmani as a BSP candidate received from the chair.
SiraThu chairs are now left with a maximum of 20 candidates in Fray.
