Ludhiana: In developments that can increase the cracks between different agricultural union factions, the leader of the farmer Gurnam Singh Chaduni on Monday emerged as the main guest of the Bhartiya Arthik Party (BAP), a new political party that floated by employers.
BAP is the idea of a Ludhiana-based business association led by Bahadurke Textile and Knitwear Association (BTKA).
According to BTKA, the newly launched political party has support for 29 state traders.
Entrepreneur Ludhiana Tarun Jain Bring, who has been appointed as National President of BAP, states that the party will compete in 117 seats in Punjab and Chaduni will be the main ministerial candidate.
