With hijab row rampage, some at BJP worried about the tabling bill

Bengaluru: With its strength in the Karnataka Legislative Council increased significantly, the BJP government was planning to depen on the rights of the rights of the freedom of the religious bill, 2021 – generally referred to as anti-conversion bills – on the legislative council scheduled to start from Monday.
However, several ministers have reservations for the time because the controversy over a hijab ban is still raging and they have suggested Minister of Bubavaraj Bommai to delay demanding bills until the budget session, the source said.
Bill, who seeks to prevent the conversion of “force” and punish prison with a sentence including a prison, legalized in assembly during the dictionary session in December.
However, the government does not capture it on the council because the party does not have a majority.
Unless the bill is forwarded in both houses and gets the governor’s approval, it will not be an enforced law.
Now the party’s power has increased from 26 to 37 in a member of a member of 75 after the election of up to 25 board seats, BJP reflects the bill bill.
“We will get anticonversion bills passed in this session because we have sufficient amounts on the board,” said JC Madhuswamy, Minister of Law and Parliament.
Even with 37 members, the party is still a simple majority deficiency, but the leadership is sure to get the support of the newly elected Lakhan Jarkiholi.
His brothers, Ramesh and Balachandra are MLA from BJP and Lakhan also tend to join them.
This bill seeks to ban the conversion from one religion to another with representation, fraud, strength, loan or marriage.
Even if someone volunteered to try to convert to any religion, he must tell the district judge two months earlier.
District judges must confirm that he voluntarily converts and only then gives approval.
The opposition party of the Congress and JD and several organizations, especially the Christian society, have opposed the bill claiming that it was brought only to target Christians.
“We know we can’t stop the bill, but we will expose the BJP communal motif during the debate on it,” said the HariRprasad BK, opposition leader.
Cap Cap Bill In addition to anti-conversion bills, a 10-day session is likely to see part of the four or five bills including one who is looking for approval to spread 362 candidates from the 2011 Public Service Trial Collection selected through the Karnataka Public Service Commission.
The bill that imagines hats on stamp duty on Rs 25 Crore paid by corporates during mergers or bifurkasi will also be presented.
This proposal was approved by the cabinet recently.
On the first day, business will be locked up for the address of the Governor of Thaawarchand Gehlot and the memories of the figures who died recently.
Madhuswamy said the business advisory committee was scheduled to meet on Monday to decide on its business for the rest of the session.
Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri, the speaker of the Assembly, said the Secretariat had received 2,062 and 81 requests for attention.
