Mangaluru: The closure of the school, which paralyzes learning, has forced parents to find alternative modes to educate their home courses.
Too late, many parents have sent their children to college classes.
Some of these tutors are those who lose their jobs or paid half salary.
While some parents choose other offline tuition fees going for online classes.
Sheakefal d’Silva, a psychology lecturer at a private PU college, who took classes directly and online for children under 10 classes said the demand for college had increased after a pandemic.
“The demand is high among students enrolled in the state syllabus school where online learning is unsatisfactory.
While the CBSE school or ICSE has regular online classes and students occupied,” he said.
“The elderly from the State Council students who voiced their concerns about their child’s academic careers chose tuition at home – where a student received one-to-one attention.
I took a class of communication and involved students in the game of mind,” Sheakefal said, have two students each in the class of offline / online tuition fees.
John D’Silva and his mother-in-law Sridevi prefers to provide online school money for children.
“Children do not bring home from today’s online education system.
As a result, parents want them to register for tuition fees where they get personal attention.
We prefer only online mode because it does not involve risk.
Tutors and students are on the side safer, “he said.
While Reena D, a private school teacher, said because many teachers lose their jobs or paid half salary, they have started offering school money in their territory.
“There are many teachers like that inside and around Mangalaru who take lectures for large or small groups of children.
School closure is the main reason for increasing demand for school money,” he added.
Other teachers who entered college at home during the pre-Pandemic days said he could not do it again.
“Online classes make us busy all day.
We have to prepare a presentation and a powerpoint slide for a class that takes a lot of time,” he said.
Some parents who sent their children to tuition for pre-pandemic days now stopped.
“Because I was at home most of the time I took classes for my daughter,” said the parents from Jeppu.
