With stocks that are not used, noida residents plan to establish drug banks

Noida: The shortages and high levels of drugs used in covid treatment, in addition to other flu diseases, continue to be a challenge for the community, especially those from the economically weaker parts.
Until installing on this gap and reaching the poor, NGO Noida Lok Manch (NLM) in collaboration with various associations of resident (RWAS), industry associations and villagers have come up with a plan to establish drug banks.
The set will be launched on October 7, volunteers from NGOs have begun to collect drugs that are not used for Covid and cold cough spells and spells of various parts of the city through the RWAS and the Federation of the Welfare Association of Citizens of Noida (Fonrwa).
Drugs, said NGO members, will be given to people from the more economically weaker parts or at a nominal price.
So far, 26 RWA from sector 11, 22, 135, 35, and 31, among others have submitted their medicine collection box, they said.
Anjana Bhagi, Sector 11 Secretary General of Rwa, said, “We have 550 houses with four floors.

We have collected a list of drugs along with their expiration date and send it to NLM.
