Jaipur: Covid has claimed 25 lives in the last five days throughout the state.
In the last 24 hours, eight people lost their lives took the number of victims to 8,999.
However, the good thing is that the mortality rate is only 0.05 percent.
The number of Covid deaths in January exceeded death in July 2021, when 33 victims were reported.
However, the mortality rate at that time was 2.65%.
As far as regarding cases, January has so far seen 71,763 infections compared to 1,245 in July.
On Saturday, the state reported 9,676 new cases, taking the overall calculation to 10.27.990.
Active cases also rose from 52,773 to 58,428.
Jaipur reported 1,973 cases increased active cases from 19,678 to 20,123.
Eight deaths were reported from seven districts.
Jhalawar reported two deaths, while one death was reported from Barmer, Bikaner, Jaipur, Sirar, Sirohi and Udaipur.

“The 86-year-old was treated in a private hospital with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in January 3.
He underwent treatment in the ICU.
He tested Covid Positive on January 13 and died on Saturday,” said Dr.

In Sikar, a 75-year-old man died.
“That person, with covid pneumonia and some other comorbidity is undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Jaipur,” said Dr.
Ajay Chaudhary, Cmo, Sikar.
A 78-year-old man from Barmer died at Jodhpur.
“The person underwent treatment for brain bleeding in AIIMS, Jodhpur,” said Dr.
BL Vishnoi, Cmo, Barmer.
Health department officials said in other districts as well, most of the elderly and patients with comorbidity died.
