Witness Himachal Pradesh increased by 24% in the GST collection

Shimla: State tax and excise have collected RS 427.72 GST crores in January compared with RS 346.30 Crores in January last year, thus registering growth of 24 percent.
The cumulative GST collection in the current financial year until January stood at RS 3745.32 Crores VIS-A-Vis RS.
2716.75 crores during the same period last year.
This made a cumulative GST growth until January this year at 38 percent.
A spokesman for the department said that positive growth in GST revenue has been produced from a large number of initiatives carried out by the department, such as non-filer nyuding, increased verification of goods in transit, it is better to use analytical reports and functional performance monitoring by the state headquarters.
He said that the distribution of reports based on business intelligence tools by GSTN also helped the government and the Central Tax Administration in taking action against tax avoiders which resulted in increased income.
This department recently launched a “program for the program” for recovery times that are bound from questions related to compliance and the problem of stakeholders and makes them aware of the changes that occur in GST law.
