Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala on Wednesday recorded 13,658 cases of Covid-19 fresh and 142 of their respective deaths, encourage calculations to 29,24,165 and 13,235 respectively.
Among new cases, 67 are health workers.
As many as 11,808 people have been cured, taking a total recovery to 28.09,587 while the active case touches 1,00,881, the State Health Department says in a bulletin.
In the last 24 hours, 1,40,727 tested samples and the test level (TPR) were 9.71 percent.
Malappuram contributed the highest number of cases – 1,610 followed by a 1,500 thrissur, Thiruvananthapuram 1,470 and Ernakulamp 1,448.
So far, 2,30,73,669 samples have been tested.
From new cases, 69 people come from outside the country and 12,833 are infected through contact.
At least 3,88,903 people under observations in various districts, including 24,803 in the hospital.
