Kanpur: The city witnessed the toughest rainy season shower which continued for several hours on Thursday.
According to the Ministry of Met Department, the University of CSA, the same weather conditions will apply on Fridays and more rain offings.
More than 70 mm of rain was recorded until 8pm after rainfall began at midnight on Wednesday.

Speaking with Toi, Agrometerologist at the University of CSA, Dr.
SN Sunil Pandey said, “Total Rain Gauge for the city during the rainy season was 870 mm.

Pandey said that uneven rain distribution would not benefit farmers.
