Ghaziabad: A 25-year-old woman was stabbed to death by an unknown man, only 100 meters from his house in the Loni Ghaziabad area, officials said on Thursday.
The police said that this case was being investigated “from all angles”.
According to the police, the woman has been identified as Kumari’s deposit, a resident of Behta Hajipur in Ghaziabad.
“Upasana worked at a cable factory in the Delhi Jhilmil area and returned home from work on Wednesday night.
Around 8:30 a.m., he got out of the car and walked towards his house, which was 500 meters from the main road,” said Sachin Kumar, Station House Officer from the Loni border police station.
Kumari was accompanied by two more women who worked with him in the same factory.
“Almost 100 meters from his house, a man came from behind and stabbed him and escaped.
The two women, who walked a little behind Kumari, tried to save him but could not.
They raised the alarm and told Kumari’s family members.

The police said that the woman gave up on injury during treatment on Thursday.
The woman’s post-mortem was done and the body was handed over to the family.
“During the investigation, the women who accompanied Kumari revealed that they could not identify the defendant because it was a dark stretch of road and the man covered his face,” Kumar said.
“The case of an unknown person has been registered based on complaints by the female sister.
