AMETHI: A girl here’s alleged her 40-year-old mum was beaten up and mistreated by physicians and medical staff in a Lucknow hospital from where she had been discharged a day prior to her passing.
Family members of the deceased stated she died at the night of June 12 while being carried to a different hospital at the country capital.
The girl alleged that she approached Union minister Smriti Irani, that had been on a trip to Amethi, on Saturday since the authorities refused to pay some heed .
Amethi District Magistrate Arun Kumar has included a group on Irani’s directions to research the allegations.
The girl said her mom has been admitted to the Amethi Joint District Hospital, Gauriganj, on June 6 because she had been unwell, however, her condition deteriorated, and she had been known to the Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences at Lucknow the following moment.
She alleged that her mum was originally kept at the emergency ward of their Lucknow hospital and subsequently altered into a mattress on the fourth floor although no household members were permitted to see her.
The girl maintained that when she eventually was permitted to satisfy her mom following repeated requests, she discovered her condition was so critical.
She alleged that her mom told her she had been beaten up and mistreated by physicians and personnel.
A spokesperson of this Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Sansthan, but refuted the allegations.
“No such allegation of rape of a female was reported without a complaint was received.
When there’s a complaint, a question will be conducted,” he explained.
The girl further explained her mother has been discharged out there on Friday night at a subconscious state and admitted to the Gauriganj district hospital.
She advised Irani regarding the incident the following day, and the MP talked into the district magistrate, superintendent of police and the chief health officer of Amethi.
Medical Superintendent of Amethi Joint District Hospital, Gauriganj, Dr PK Upadhyay said that the girl was being changed to a hospital at Lucknow on Saturday night since she had grown black fungus, however she died on the road.
District magistrate Arun Kumar reported a question committee had been set up containing the Gauriganj deputy collector, also that the deputy superintendent of police along with the ACMO, and actions would be taken following the committee palms at a report.
Superintendent of authorities Dinesh Singh reported a medical evaluation has been conducted over the girl Saturday but refused to elaborate further.
