MADURAI: A 47-year-old girl and her daughter had been murdered to death near Melur at Madurai district in the wee hours of Wednesday. The dead has been identified as Neeladevi of Pathinettangudi village along with also her daughter Agilanda Eswari, 22. Eswari had wed Prasad of all Sivarakottai but parted ways . She was staying with her mum ever since that time. Authorities said unidentified people entered the home while the duo were also sleeping and hacked them to death with sharp weapons. On being alarmed, a police staff from Melur headed by the variety deputy superintendent of police Ragupathi Raja touched the place and ran a question. District superintendent of police Sujit Kumar also seen the area. Police picked up Sasikumar, 27, of Pudupatti close Uranganpatti in connection with the murders. They stated Sasikumar had an extramarital affair with Neeladevi’s elder daughter Maheshwari, 24, who’s married and settled in Therkupatti. Neeladevi and Agilanda Eswari lately came to learn about Maheshwari’s extramarital affair with Sasikumar and cautioned her many times. Authorities said that they were investigating if Maheshwari had some part in the murders.
