Greater Noida: A 28-year-old woman died in two and a half hours of operation, the last in a series of three failed operations, in a nursing home in Greater Noida’s Rabupura, triggered protest by local residents and family members, who accused the operation by two shamans.
The woman, Poonam, had complained of stomach pain during the past few months after her husband Pradeep took him to Raj Nurse Hospital for treatment.
The owner, Rajendra Singh, diagnosed him to have stomach lumps and suggested surgery.
Return received at the facility on Monday afternoon.
The first surgery occurred around 2:00 p.m.
His relatives accused him of starting bleeding and his condition deteriorated.
A doctor, Rajiv Chaudhary, who was called to the facility, told them other operations needed.
This was done around 4pm.
“I want to take my wife to better facilities but Rajendra and Dr.
Chaudhary claims that they will make sure he is fine at any cost,” Pradeep said.
He accused the duo to do a third operation.
When Poonam’s condition deteriorated, Rajendra brought a partner to the Yatharth Hospital in Greater Noida, where the doctor said he died around 3am on Tuesday.
Pradeep Alleged Rajendra left him at the hospital and took Poonam’s body to the police station Rabupura and surrendered.
The family complained to the police and demanded that Rajendra and Dr.
Chaudhary were arrested.
Police, however, send the body to post-mortem.
After returning from the morgue, around 600 people, including pradeep relatives, surrounded by nursing home for almost four hours, where nursing home staff locked the building and escaped.
The protesters accused the delay in the police against being accused.
They also claimed that Rajendra had run a nursing home without a title.
Pradeep said he was suspicious that even Dr.
Chaudhary did not qualify for operation.
As a protest caused congestion outside the nurse’s house, the police team reached the place.
ACP-4 (Greater Noida) Rudra Kumar Singh and HR Jewar Rajnikan tried to calm the villagers.
Rabupura Nagar Panchayat Chairperson of Virendra Singh ensures a pine has submitted and submits a copy to the family.
He also convinced compensation to them, after the villagers succumbed.
DCP (Greater Noida) Abhishek Singh said the FIR was filed against the two defendants under the IPC part 308 (guilty murder did not amount to murder) as soon as the complaint was received.
He said the police verified the degree of the duo.
