MUMBAI: A 27-year-old lady was arrested on Tuesday for supper with her boyfriend killing her husband, even before devoting his body in their home in a Dahisar chawl.
A new layer of cement to the kitchen tiles alerted the authorities.
Until late Tuesday, authorities were excavating to recover the body that was put in a gunny bag prior to repainting.
The murder has been committed 11 weeks past.
Shahida Shaikh, the accused, dwelt by husband, and Raees, 28, in Khan chemical in Dahisar’s Rawalpada.
The couple was married for eight decades and have 2 kids.
On May 21, Shahida approached the Dahisar police station and complained that her husband had gone lost.
She stated that he returned in the clothes shop he worked .
After the police began making queries in Khan chemical, a different picture emerged.
The authorities discovered that Shahida was with an extra marital relationship with a young guy, Amit Vishwakarma, in the area.
Vishwakarma, a safety shield with profession, had disappeared as May 21– the identical day which Shahida reported her husband missing.
The authorities made inquiries using Shahida however she gave evasive answers.
“On Tuesday, a police group completed a review of Shahida’s home.
They found it strange that a few tiles of the kitchen have been coated in a new layer of cement.
When asked about that, Shahida remained mother.
The group then made a decision to pull the tiles out and analyze,” said added commissioner Dilip Sawant.
After first digging, the authorities discovered a enormous hole in the floor.
Shahida then supposedly confessed to the offense.
“On May 20, later Raees achieved home in the office, Vishwakarma left him using a nylon rope using Shahida’s assistance.
Her kids were asleep in the moment.
Afterwards the body was packaged into a gunny bag along with both eliminated tiles from the kitchen to dig a pit to bury the body.
They exchanged the tiles using a new coat of cement in the long run,” said an officer.

Multiple authorities teams are searching for Vishwakarma.
