Noida: A 30-year-old girl put her six-year-old girl on fire in their house in Sadopur village of Badalpur place on Tuesday.
Authorities said the girl was angry on her husband’s passing and was also confronting monetary problems in bringing up their son or daughter.
The incident occurred about 7am on Tuesday as soon as the girl, later identified as Jyoti, was at her home together with her daughter Nifti, father-in-law, mother-in-law along with brother-in-law.
According to authorities, Jyoti first put her own and her daughter’s clothing on fire causing over 80 percent burns .
ACP-2 (fundamental Noida) Yogendra Singh told TOI her in-laws attempted to douse the flames and took her to the district hospital at Sector 30.
“When they had been taken to the hospital, Jyoti was living but Nifti was dead.
Jyoti was changed into the Safdarjung hospital at Delhi in which she succumbed to her injuries,” he explained.
The family told authorities that Jyoti was angry since her husband Johny expired because of Typhoid.
“He had been analyzed for Covid also because he had symptoms.
However, the test had proven to become negative.
The family and acquaintances stated the couple needed a love union and since the departure of her spouse, Jyoti could stay mad,” that the ACP-2 said.
Jyoti was also a housewife and has been angry in their financial situation also, the cops added.
In another episode, a 72-year-old girl jumped to departure in the 16th floor of this Exotica Green Ville culture of Greater Noida (west) on Tuesday.
The older lady, Rukmani Sharma, has been angry because of her constant ailments within the last couple of decades.
Her body had been sent for post mortem after citizens told the Bisrakh cops concerning the episode.
In the same incident, a 48-year-old guy employed as a domestic help in the home of former defence employees died after hanging himself into a buff in Sector 37 on Tuesday night.
Duryodhan Reejal in Nepal was staying at an area on the patio of the home in Sector 37.
In addition, a 24-year-old girl tried to commit suicide by swallowing poison in the Sadarpur region of Sector 39.
